PACE OF PLAY (remember 12-15 minutes/hole max)

​PLAY READY GOLF.   In both match play and stroke play, players can agree to play out of turn without penalty.

Take three clubs:  When play is “cart path only” read what the yardage is from your cart location.  Take the club you think you need – plus one higher and one lower so you don’t have to walk back to the cart.

Be efficient:  Read your putts while others are putting so you will be ready when it is your turn AND tap in putts that are close to the hole.

Look ahead:  You should be within two strokes of the group in front of your group.  If there is an open hole ahead of your group and a group waiting behind you, pick up your pace of play.   If necessary, allow the  group behind you to play through. 
Keep an extra ball in your pocket in case you lose one.
Place your cart near the green and place your clubs between the hole and your cart.
Fill in your score card and replace your head covers at the next tee box.
In doubt?  Play two balls according to rule 20.1 (3) and get a correct ruling from the golf pro after the round.  This will prevent you from getting disqualified in a stroke play event.
